I have used Jon for 15+ years now and he never disappoints. His inspections are thorough and precise. He walks my clients through the entire inspection and even makes himself available after for any questions. His reports are meticulous, including photos and a summary. He is by far an exceptional inspector making sure buyers know the difference between "issues" and "maintenance", but doesn't scare them away (unless of course there are legitimate reasons, that's his job). He truly cares about peoples needs.

Jon provided me friendly and expert service. I felt like I was talking with a friend more than a contractor. I recommend him completely.

John Melvin is absolutely wonderful. He's very thorough and goes into great detail explaining everything, he even shows you what the testing says as he does it and what the device he's using for testing means. His reports are very detailed and helpful as he also includes pictures. He's very nice, courteous, and funny. Also, if he knows the real estate agent that you're working with, he will talk about how great they are, at least he did with our agent, Beth Coslett and how much he likes her and what an amazing agent she is (he's not wrong, she really is an amazing and wonderful agent) and he gets a kick out of how she comes up with ideas to add to the home or update things.

I highly recommend using him for your home inspections.

Could not have asked for a better inspector! Jon was absolutely wonderful, he is very meticulous and paid great attention to every detail. I felt like he really went out of his way to take the time to explain the mechanics of the property I was purchasing to me. He did an amazing job helping me understand not only everything he was putting in the report but also why it was there. I felt like he really went above and beyond to make me comfortable with my first home purchase. Will definitely be going back to JM Inspections in the future.

Jon performed our home inspection 2 weeks ago and we were very satisfied with the work that he did. Jon was extremely thorough throughout the entire inspection and took the time to explain the details of his findings so they were easily understood. The inspection report was well organized, very clear and we received it very quickly after the inspection was done. His prices are right in line with other inspectors and he was very easy to communicate with before and after the inspection was completed. I would highly recommend Jon.

Jon with JM inspections was professional, courteous and did an excellent job on a roof and siding job for us. They used a drone that gave us better detail on problem areas and turned around a good report and detailed photos in a reasonable amount of time. Definitely recommend.

We just had our home inspection yesterday with John, he had told us it would be about an hour and half for the size of the space. He went above and beyond pointing things out for us and giving his opinions on how to fix or what to do.. All an all he was great, extreamly friendly and personable and was there for over 3 hours.. Highly recommend him.
